PTA Enrichment: 1st Grade High Touch High Tech - Surf the Waves

Thanks to your support of the Sherman Walkathon, we are proud to bring real scientists into our classrooms through High Tech High Touch!

First graders will dive into Surf the Waves, a hands-on program that explores sound, light, and vibrations. Students will:

• Experiment with tuning forks to see how sound and vibrations are connected

• Discover how light behaves when it meets different surfaces

• Engineer simple devices to send messages using waves

• Create their own musical instruments

This exciting program normally costs $950, but because of your donations, we are able to provide it at no cost to families.
